How the AI Trust Audit Works

If AI visibility were a house, we check the foundation. Whether the house looks beautiful later (content quality) or stands at the right address (relevant prompts), we can't measure – but without a solid foundation, it won't stand.


What we measure

The AI Trust Audit primarily analyzes the URL you enter. For context-specific checks (e.g., Product Schema, FAQ Schema, Article Schema), suitable subpages are automatically identified from the sitemap and analyzed. The analysis evaluates the technical foundation of your website across 6 categories with over 50 individual tests: structured data (Schema.org), metadata, performance, crawl-friendliness (robots.txt), SSL certificates, content quality, as well as off-site signals like reviews and external authority signals.

What we don't measure

We cannot predict whether your website will appear for a specific prompt in ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overview. AI models are black boxes: their decisions are based on billions of parameters and constantly change. What we measure are the technical prerequisites – not the content relevance for every conceivable use case.

Why this is still valuable

Think of AI visibility as a multi-level model: The bottom level is technical discoverability – can an AI system even read and process your content? Above that is citation probability. The AI Trust Audit measures exactly these two levels. Without the first two levels, you'll never reach the third.
